Out and About
Because of its quiet and secluded location, Aldermoor is a place for those who wish to unwind from the stresses and strains of everyday life. It is believed that the route leading up to Aldermoor is one of the old smuggling paths from Trebarwith Strand to Jamaica Inn on Bodmin Moor.

It is close to the haunting moors and yet only minutes away from lovely surfing beaches and the beautiful rugged Atlantic Coast Only 1½ miles from the old market town of Camelford on the A39, this is an ideal place from which to explore Cornwall.
The Eden Project and Heligan Gardens are only a short drive away, as are numerous National Trust properties and gardens.

There is a very popular 18 hole golf course just a mile away and Crowdy Reservoir for those who like coarse, fly-fishing, boardsailing and canoeing. Microlite flying (including lessons), seafishing trips, riding and clay pigeon shooting is available in the immediate area.
